Who You Are Contracting With

Your agreement to use FIXITorPRO is with 17Rivers LLC (‘Company’). The Company’s members, managers, officers, employees, and representatives act on behalf of the Company and do not personally guarantee its contractual obligations. No individual assumes personal contractual liability solely by acting as an authorized representative of the Company. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

Assumption of Risk

FIXITorPRO (the "Platform") is owned and operated by 17Rivers LLC, a Pennsylvania limited liability company (the "Company"). The Platform provides repair guides, photo diagnostics, cost estimates, and professional networking services for homeowners and contractors. By using this Platform, you acknowledge and agree that DIY repairs and professional contracting work involve inherent risks of serious injury or death.

No Liability for Injuries

FIXITorPRO is not responsible for any injuries, damages, or losses sustained by:

• •DIY users performing repairs based on guides, diagnostics, or advice provided by the Platform
• •Contractors performing any repairs or services
• •Property damage or injury caused by misuse of tools, equipment, or materials
• •Accidents, errors, or failures during repair work

Educational Purpose Only

All repair guides, photos diagnostics, and cost estimates provided by FIXITorPRO are for educational purposes only and should not be considered professional advice. The Platform does not provide medical advice, engineering assessments, or professional certifications.

User Responsibility

Users are solely responsible for:

• •Assessing whether a repair is within their skill level
• •Obtaining proper training and licensing where required by law
• •Using appropriate safety equipment and following all safety protocols
• •Consulting with licensed professionals for complex or hazardous work

Contractor Independence

Contractors using the Platform operate as independent service providers. FIXITorPRO does not supervise, verify the competency of, or assume liability for any work performed by contractors. Homeowners should verify licensing, insurance, and qualifications independently.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, FIXITorPRO shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of this Platform, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

User-Submitted Information Accuracy

FIXITorPRO is not responsible for the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of information submitted by users. All users — including homeowners and contractors — are solely responsible for the information they provide. FIXITorPRO does not independently verify all user-submitted information and makes no guarantees as to its truthfulness or accuracy.

• •Business details — contractors are responsible for the accuracy of their business name, address, license number, insurance status, and service areas.
• •Licensing self-certification — the "licensed & insured" affirmation is a self-declaration. FIXITorPRO does not validate licenses against issuing authorities. Homeowners should verify credentials independently.
• •Lead descriptions — homeowners are responsible for accurately describing their repair issue, location, and contact information.
• •Duty to keep current — users must update their information when it changes; outdated or false information may result in removal from the Platform.
• •Prohibited content — submitting false, misleading, fraudulent, or infringing information is prohibited and may result in account termination.

Data Privacy & Security

FIXITorPRO implements industry-standard security measures to protect user data, but cannot guarantee that unauthorized access, disclosure, or loss of user information will never occur. No method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is completely secure.

• •Data we handle — name, email, phone, ZIP code, business details, and repair descriptions you submit to use the Platform.
• •Encryption & transmission — checkout and account sessions are protected with SSL/TLS encryption. No method of Internet transmission is fully secure.
• •Service providers — we use trusted third-party providers for payments, email, and analytics, each governed by their own privacy and security practices.
• •Your rights — you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting support.
• •Breach notification — in the event of a confirmed data breach, affected users will be notified as required by applicable law.
• •Your acknowledgment — by using the Platform, you provide your information at your own risk and agree FIXITorPRO is not liable for any unauthorized access to or breach of your data.

No Liability for Transactions

FIXITorPRO operates as a marketplace that connects homeowners with contractors. FIXITorPRO is not a party to any agreement, contract, or transaction between homeowners and contractors and disclaims all liability arising from such agreements. Any disputes, claims, or issues regarding work quality, payment, scheduling, or performance must be resolved directly between the homeowner and the contractor. FIXITorPRO does not process contractor payments, guarantee project completion, or mediate disputes.

Third-Party Content & Links

FIXITorPRO may display third-party content, links, affiliate offers, or advertisements — including instructional videos and product purchase links. We do not endorse, control, or assume responsibility for any third-party products, services, content, or information accessed through the Platform.

• •Instructional videos — embedded or linked tutorials are provided for convenience; their accuracy and safety are the responsibility of their creators.
• •Affiliate links — FIXITorPRO may earn a commission on purchases made through affiliate links. This is a transaction between you and the third-party seller; FIXITorPRO is not a party to it.
• •Product purchases — FIXITorPRO is not liable for product quality, delivery, returns, warranties, or any issues with third-party purchases.
• •External sites — leaving FIXITorPRO to visit another site is at your own risk; third-party sites have their own terms and privacy policies.
• •Advertisements — ads are delivered by third parties and their accuracy or appropriateness is not guaranteed by FIXITorPRO.
• •No endorsement — inclusion of any link, product, or provider does not constitute endorsement by FIXITorPRO.

Limitation of Damages

To the maximum extent permitted by law, FIXITorPRO's total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to your use of the Platform shall not exceed the total subscription fees you paid to FIXITorPRO in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or fifty dollars ($50) if you have not paid any subscription fees in that period. This limitation applies to all claims, whether based on contract, warranty, tort (including negligence), or any other legal theory, and regardless of whether FIXITorPRO has been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Your Agreement

By accessing and using FIXITorPRO, you expressly assume all risks associated with repair work and agree to hold harmless FIXITorPRO, its owners, operators, and employees from any claims arising from injuries, damages, or losses sustained during or as a result of repair activities.

When to Hire a Professional

If any repair involves electrical systems, gas lines, structural work, hazardous materials, or poses a risk of serious injury, please hire a licensed professional. FIXITorPRO is not a substitute for professional expertise.
